Recipe of The Month!

Hope you enjoy this breakfast favorite...

Great Granola
Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes

1 Tbl. vegetable oil
2/3 c. honey
6 c. uncooked old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 c. sliced almonds, chopped pecans, walnuts or cashew pieces
1 Tbl. cinnamon
2 c. raisins, dried cherries or dried cranberries

1. Preheat oven to 375o F.
2. Pour oil into a 1-cup measuring cup. Coat entire surface of cup and pour remainder of oil in to a 9 x 12-inch baking dish, coating bottom and sides. Add the honey to the oiled cup; pour into baking dish. Add the oatmeal, nuts, & cinnamon to the baking dish and mix well.
3. Bake the mixture for 25 minutes, until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes.
4. Remove granola from the oven and stir in the raisins. Let cool before storing.

Note: Great as a snack over low fat vanilla yogurt or cinnamon applesauce.
